Kim Franklin joined the departmental staff as the Academic Program Administrator in March 2020. As Academic Program Administrator, Kim is responsible for the oversight and management of Ph.D. students in the CS Department. In her role, she coordinates and manages activities related to academic affairs – including recruitment, admissions, advising, scheduling, financial services, student services, and event planning. Kim previously worked at Johns Hopkins University-SAIS, in the Hopkins-Nanjing Center’s graduate program office in a similarly aligned position to that of her current work in CS. She received her BA from Dickinson College in 1996, and her MA in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in 2008. When not in the office or spending time with family, she can be found training for her next triathlon, endurance swim, or cycling event.
