Yair Amir seeks to invent high performance, survivable and secure distributed systems. He holds a bachelor’s (’85) and master’s (‘90s) in computer science from The Technion- Israel Institute of Technology and a doctorate (’95), also in computer science, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He joined Johns Hopkins in 1995.
