Soudeh Ghorbani has been an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Johns Hopkins University since Fall 2018. She received her Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her M.S.c and B.S. at the University of Toronto and Sharif University of Technology, respectively. Her research integrates networked systems and theory.

She is a winner of the Facebook Networking RFP, VMware Fellowship, NSF Grant for Junior Researchers, Feng Chen Memorial Award, and Gottlieb Fellowship. Soudeh is the director of the Networking@Hopkins lab and a member of the Computer Science Systems Research Group.
