Student Health & Well-Being Primary Care on the Homewood campus is open 6 days a week to address student health concerns free of charge. Certified health care professionals provide primary care, including injury and illness treatment, routine gynecologic cares, immunizations, and travel consultation.

Student mental health is as important as physical health, and representatives from the Mental Health Services are available for consultations, individual and group therapy, or psychiatric evaluations.

For other non-academic wellness concerns that may be disrupting your success as a student, please reach out to CS Graduate Student Support and Advocacy Case Manager Hannah Nelson for issues related to physical or mental health, family emergencies, financial difficulties, housing issues, concern or worry about a friend, and questions or concerns related to your PhD advisor.

The JHU Sexual Assault Helpline (410-516-7333) gives students free access to trained professional counselors 24/7. More information on response and prevention can be found on the Sexual Misconduct website.

The O’Connor Center for Recreation and Well-Being is accessible to students on the Homewood campus and features an indoor track and pool, a 2,500 square-foot weight room and fitness center, group fitness classes, and intramural programs.
