Interactive Volume Rendering of Time-Varying Data

Description:

We present a novel scheme to interactively visualize time-varying  scalar fields defined on a structured grid. The underlying approach is to maximize the use of current graphics hardware byusing 3D texture mapping. This approach commonly suffers from an expensive voxelization of each time-step as well as from large size of the voxel array approximating each step.
