Steve DeBlasio

I am the Assistant System Administrator for the Department of Computer Science, at Johns Hopkins University. My duties include user support and administration of the department's Windows machines, as well as purchasing equipment and assisting in resource and space allocation for the department.

I enjoy golf (which I have no time to play now that I have a kid,) working out, watching my son play soccer (which I can not play anymore, due to an achilles tendon injury,) playing XBOX games, and watching the Orioles & Redskins.

Remember these things:

" The secret to life isn't getting what you want, it's wanting it after you get it." (I heard that somewhere, or read it?)

"At some point in life, the secret of even a tenuous grasp on happiness is permanently not noticing almost everything." Michael Kelly

"With proper diet, rest, and exercise a healthy body will last a lifetime." Unknown

"Microsoft products are usually better before they're announced than after they're announced, if you know what I mean..." Mark Minasi

"Words like "community" and "social" soothe us into thinking that collectivist decision-making is somehow higher and nobler than individual or "selfish" decision-making. But the cold fact is that communities do not make decisions. Individuals who claim to speak for the community impose their decisions on us all." --Thomas Sowell

"[E]very time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists [mistakenly] conclude that we object to its being done at all." --Frederic Bastiat
