Abhishek Jain is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. Since 2023, he is also a Senior Scientist at NTT Research in California. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at MIT and Boston University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012, and before that, his B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.

He is interested in all areas of cryptography, with a current focus on proof systems, program obfuscation, and secure computation.

He has published over 100 technical papers at venues such as Crypto, Eurocrypt, STOC, FOCS, ACM CCS, IEEE S&P, USENIX Security, and served on many program committees.
