Dr. Avi Rubin has been named the keynote speaker of the 2015 AMIA Annual Symposium. Dr. Rubin’s talk will focus on the vulnerability of medical devices and the systems that hold electronic health records. The meeting will be held in November 2015 in San Francisco, CA.
Technical.ly Baltimore reported that the most recent edition of Johns Hopkins’ hackathon, called “HopHacks,” attracted more than 160 students, who produced 31 projects over the 36-hour event.
