I am a research scientist at the Human Language Technology Center of Excellence and in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University and is affiliated with the Center for Language and Speech Processing. Post’s main research interest is machine translation, but also likes grammar correction, parsing, and other things that involve syntax.

He has once or continue to maintain the Joshua decoder, co-advise (with Benjamin Van Durme) Keisuke Sakaguchi, and co-organize the Workshop on Statistical Machine Translation. Post is a member of the NAACL executive board (2015–2016).
