During the last period, SIGMEDIA members have been involved in the
organization of the following workshops:

- INLG 2000 Workshop: Coherence in Generated Multimedia
(Co-Chairs: John Lee, Kees van Deemter, Date: 12 June 2000, Venue: Mitzpe
Ramon, Israel)
- AAAI 1999 Fall Symposium on Modal and Temporal Logics Based Planning for
Open Networked Multimedia Systems
(Chair: Fawzi Daoud, Venue: Date: Nov. 5-7 2000. North Falmouth, MA, USA)
- AAAI 2000 Fall Symposium on Socially Intelligent Agents - The Human in the
Loop
Chair: Kerstin Dautenham, Date: 3-5 November 2000, Venue: Sea Crest Resort,

- i3 Workshop on Interactive Learning Environments for Children
(Chair: Constantine Stephanidis, Date: 3 March 2000, Venue: Athens, Greece)

Furthermore, we strenghtened our links to the European I3 Network (Intelligent
Information Interfaces) and established links to the International Scientific
Forum “Towards an Information Society for All” (ISF). Due to these links, a
slight increase in membership could be observed.
