Summer Research Intern

·     Involved in Automated Multi-Lingual Translation and Language Morphology.

·     Aim is to create software to convert text in any language to English without any knowledge of that language.

         

Online Pediatric Culture Book (Spring 2006)

Division of Health Science Informatics, Johns Hopkins University

·    Designed and implemented the security aspect in addition to front end of a patient culture information management system

·    This critical system to allow physicians to effectively manage treatment history and administer drugs effectively with reduced paper work.

·    It involves Coldfusion and MySql as back-end

 

Cricketer Information Analysis Tool (Spring 2006)

Information Retrieval and Web Agents Final Project, Johns Hopkins University

·     Implemented a statistical search engine to search cricketer’s records

·     Implemented an unsupervised clustering of players based on their career records.

·    Implemented in CGI-Perl.

 

 

Image Stitching to produce Panoramic Images (Fall 2005)

Computer Vision Final Project, Johns Hopkins University

·       Implemented an automatic image stitching algorithm.

·       Involved use of corner detection, Homography based rectification and RANSAC algorithms

·       Implemented in Matlab.

 

Internet Student Information Services, Johns Hopkins (Fall 2005-Spring 2006)

Member, JHU Information Technology team

·    Involved in various projects using ASP.NET, MS SQL, HTML and Javascript

·    Developed a module for Student Emergency and Parent Contact Information Service

 

GUI Based Interaction with Music Synthesizer (2004-2005)

VJTI and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India

·    Developed of a Graphical Interface and a Control Driver to interact with Sfront Compiler for upcoming MP4.

·    SA technology for algorithmic music composition to provide a run time interaction

·    Collaborated with IIT, Bombay and TIFR professors to work on this project

Issues Management Service

·    Developed an intranet website to handle the myriad of issues raised in the Legislative Assembly

·    Implemented various role based security levels for approvals of issues

·   Introduced tracking and automatic categorization of similar issues raised in the past

·   Implemented in PHP and MySQL.
