Short Bio

Andreas Terzis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, where he heads the Hopkins InterNetworking Research (HiNRG) Group. His research interests are in the broad area of wireless sensor networks, including protocol design, system support, and data management. Dr. Terzis is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award.

  • Consider submitting a paper to the 2010 IEEE International Conference on Sensor Networks, Ubiquitous, and Trustworthy Computing SUTC 2010 for which I am the Vice Chair of the Sensor Networks Track
  • Our paper MEDISN: Medical Emergency Detection in Sensor Networks will appear on the special issue on Wireless Health Systems of the ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems (TECS) journal.
  • 08/30 Joined the editorial board of IEEE's Transactions on Mobile Computing
  • 07/20 Recently received a CRI grant from NSF to develop miSense, a platform for medical sensing applications.
  • 07/15 Excited that our papers on Data Center Monitoring and TOSThreads will appear in Sensys this year.
