I think Java is kind of cool, don't you ? Here's an applet I wrote for a course in Computational Geometry.
For the past few years or so, I've been working on the fnTBL toolkit, which is now ready to download!
It is a very useful tool for Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning in general; it comes already trained
for the most common tasks in NLP (POS tagging, base Noun Phrase chunking, etc). See the documentation page
for more details.
