Wow, you're the visitor no  since November 14, 1996.

Welcome to my home page.

I used to be a graduate student here, at Johns Hopkins University. In October 2002, I put a final period
on my thesis and moved on. Since then, I've been spending my time at the IBM Watson Research Center
in Yorktown Heights, NY.

I think Java is kind of cool, don't you ? Here's an applet I wrote for a course in Computational Geometry.

For the past few years or so, I've been working on the fnTBL toolkit, which is now ready to download!
It is a very useful tool for Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning in general; it comes already trained
for the most common tasks in NLP (POS tagging, base Noun Phrase chunking, etc). See the documentation page
for more details.
