I recently moved to the University of Strasbourg/Image-guided Minimally Invasive Surgery Institute, France. Post-doc and intern positions in surgical activity modeling and analysis using a multi-sensor system are available.
===== Short Bio ===== Nicolas Padoy graduated with a Maîtrise in Computer Science from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon ([[http://www.ens-lyon.eu|ENS Lyon]]) in 2003 and with a Diploma in Computer Science from the Technische Universität München ([[http://www.tum.de/|TUM]]), Munich, in 2005. He completed his PhD jointly between the Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures ([[http://campar.in.tum.de|CAMP]]) at TUM and the INRIA group [[http://magrit.loria.fr/index.en.html|MAGRIT]] in Nancy, under the supervision of Dr. Nassir Navab and Dr. Marie-Odile Berger. In September 2009, he became a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory for Computational Interactions and Robotics ([[https://cirl.lcsr.jhu.edu|CIRL]]) headed by Dr. Gregory Hager at the Johns Hopkins University ([[http://www.jhu.edu|JHU]]).
