Re: Fees at tournaments

My stewardship of our funds, and the will expressed by our students, is
that we would prefer NOT to pay for a cocktail party. We already p[rovide
for lunch among ourselves.

I agree. In my post to Mr. Klein I indicated how I would change that. This
has nothing to do with my argument for voluntary simplicity over luxury.

I am not sure what this means. We do all this because we want to. I do not
treat my debaters or our tournament guests "shabbily."

My point is that I do not want to have to cancel one or two tournaments in
pursuit of "luxury" (not hospitality, but luxury) while your position is,
as I quoted before, that you are willing to cut one or two tournaments.

I respect your opinion and recognize that we disagree.
