ceda points

I like the way CEDA liberally rewards newcomers.  Let it continue, and let
the points flow freely.

It has never stopped open-division laden teams from succeeding, and it
never well as long as the top programs continue their traditions of
excellence.

Now, as Simerly and Broda Bahm have pointed out in writing and practice,
there is more than one way to reward national excellence in CEDA.  I miss
designate sweepstakes as a standard for excellence for "the rest of us" as
well as a potential future goal for my own program.  Let the options
continue (or rejuvenate--hint to Greg and Ken)!
