BERUBE raving and writing

ONE: MY REMARKS ABOUT THE FORENSIC REVIEW PROCESS IS NOT AN
INDICTMENT OF BLIND REVIEW NOR IS IT A PERSONAL ATTACK ON STEVE HUNT.
STEVE'S WORKED HARD WITH CEDA OVER THE YEARS AND LAST YEAR FIELDED
SOME OF THE BEST TEAMS AROUND.

TWO: Spring topics - I have one observation. The export control
topic has very little affirmative ground and I would advise against
it.

MOST OF YOU KNOW I HAVE BEEN WRITING A TECH BOOK FOR FIVE YEARS. IT
IS DONE.
TITLE: TECHNEVANGELISM.
It examines how science, technologists and engineers make special
arguments and it covers (in depth) the nanotech discussion since 1986
(over 2000 footnotes).

FYI: The nanotech book of mine is done and at the publisher. I am
not sure when it is likely to be published. Unfortunately, I cannot
send copies of the manuscript.

I will do two things: one, I will supply the e-mail address of my
editor and, if you want, you can see if you can help push it along.
TWO, I will discuss with Tuna and the Debate Central people whether
we can have a time set aside where I can be on-line and when member
of our community can ask me questions about the research and
conclusions. Maybe I can help with some footnotes, etc.

My editor is Nina Pearlstein and she is at Praeger-Greenwood. Her
fax is through Greenwood at 203-222-1502. Their number is 203-226-
3571. Email np@greenwood.com
This is not a request for lobbying on my behalf.
