I, for one, am simply tired of being mindlessly attacked in such a manner by
those of the "conservative" political persuasion.  It is something that I
have found quite characteristic of those who generally count themselves as
members of the political right (direction only).

I would contend that angry posts will tend to generate angry responses while
open-minded well-argued posts have more potential for generating like
responses.
