I guess that the reason that I was "pissed off" was that I read
your letter in a tone that suggested an ethical challenge to the people
on the NDT panel. Since that was not your goal, I am no longer "pissed
off." Perhaps next time you wish to find out such information you
could start your letter with, "I heard some things about the Japan tour
selection process from some CEDA debaters that disturbed me. I wonder
what the reaction of other people involved in the process, including
those doing the selecting, has been."

	Coaches on the panel:

I still don't have a problem with this. The year I tried out
Elon Lauer was chosen for the tourn and George Z (his former coach) was
on the panel. I don't know how much of a role George played in Elon's
selection, but I wouldn't care if he pushed for Elon to go until it
was decided that Elon would. To suggest that George Z made an unfair
decision generates way too much cognative dissonance in my mind.

	Stefan
