coaches poll

Many of you have written me with questions about the coaches poll. I hope
the following answers all of them. If it doesn't feel free to email me.

I will again be conducting a coaches poll. I survey twenty coaches who rank
the top ten teams in the country. I attempt to poll coaches from different
regions, different sizes of programs, different resources, etc. I provide no
set criteria to coaches as to how they should rank teams. This years poll
will be taken five times between now and nationals. The first poll will be
taken after the SDSU tournament. If things go smoothly I will release the
results before my team leaves for the Emporia tournament which is the
weekend after SDSU. I will post the results to the CEDA-L as soon as I have
completed the poll.
