How do I vote?

In reponse to Glenn's request for input, I would have to say that I split
with Brian.

On scenario 1: I agree with Brian that to vote aff would violate my desire to
be a passive critic (Much the same as TR/LI). No matter how much knowledge I
THINK I have, I could be wrong. In a round one of my teams had a few years back
a judge kicked out a conceded Soviet dis-ad because, "The last time I checked,
we didn't import Soviet oil". Had this answer been made by the aff, we could
have read a card that showed the US importing over a million gallons of Soviet
oil that year. We lost because of what the judge "thought" she knew. For a
critic to use their knowledge in a round, they better have the cards with them.

On scenario 2: Here is where Brian and I disagree. If there is no violation,
how does the aff lose? Even if aff concedes what was offerred, they only
agreed that H/G is a voter, not that they are hasty. To vote neg in this
scenario would be making answers (adding a violation) for them.
