Business from SCA

I hope those who were at SCA will discuss with their colleagues the 
issues that came up there.

I hope all of you will CAREFULLY READ the packet of material Gary Larson 
has just mailed to you with the minutes of SCA , lots of important 
information, and a vote on judging philosophy with regards to the 
national tournament in CEDA. This vote is very important to CEDA. It 
concerns striking judges who have not judged l2 rounds on the Spring 
topic and a preference system for pick 20 or more judges at CEDA 
nationals. 

Please also remember votes on the Spring topic are due now. Do you want 
to continue Mexico or do you want one of the information technology topics?
Please let your preferences be known.

CEDA has always been a very democratic organization allowing input and 
votes from all members. If this democratic tradition is to continue, 
people need to be good citizens. They need to get informed about the 
issues and cast their votes.

Hope everyone had a magnificent Thanksgiving and just a bit of time off 
before finishing up the quarter or semester. Good luck to all.
