CX-L is up and ready to go.
The new listserv for high school debate is ready to roll. To sign on,
send a note to listserv@uga.cc.uga.edu with the text,
sub cx-l [firstname] [lastname]
If you have trouble, E-Mail me and I'll sign you on remotely.
There's no welcome letter just yet, so let me mention one special rule
about CX-L. People are welcome in general to discuss the relative merits
of different handbooks, debate-related merchandise, etc., but people who
are involved in the production or distribution of such items may NOT
pitch their wares on this list. A slightly modified version of this
restriction also holds for workshops. Those running them may announce
the name, date, location and who to contact for more information, but
should not upload the brochure text or pitch the workshop. The reason
for this rule is that the University in general and I in particular
am/are unwilling to assume liability for the quality (or lack thereof)
of anything you see on this list that attracts your money.
Come one, come all!
