National Debate Institute Update

Applications are now rolling in at a brisk pace. Some things you might want
to remember:

1. Applications after the June 1 deadline will be accepted, but I am being
forced to charge a $75 late fee. Please save your money and apply now!
        -Applications available at the web site.
        -Email or fax them (see fax # below) for rapid transmittal.

2. ALL scholarship applications must be here by June 1. At that point I am
going to give away our money. Please don't ask for any later. I will check
the mail on Monday after June 1 and that is it.

3. Returning students should remember to apply for the Fellowship Program,
which means a discount and access to advanced instruction (since you have
already been through boot camp for the brain once).

4. COACHES ... think about the coaching workshop. If you have a student who
is applying let me know.

5. NUMBERS ARE VERY MUCH IN FLUX RIGHT NOW with most application "in
process" so I am not sure how much room we will have later. BUT, if we have
room I will accept students (and $75 extra) right up to the day before it
starts.

6. BUY PLANE TICKETS NOW...they are fairly cheap this week, I am told.
