I don't see why not. Out here in the west, Natives are often attacked
for their religious rituals involving peyote and sweat lodges in public
facilities. Polygamy laws were used to persecute the Mormons well into
the 20th century. But much of this discrimination is STATE
discrimination, which others on the thread have argued would make for
problematic topics.
On the other hand, there are religiously motivated hate crimes as well
as probably some employment discrimination ground as well.
To many, the designation of a religious group as a "cult" invites
concrete discrimination as well.
