Civil Rights Topics



In support of the civil rights topic area, Bill Newnam, Rob Tucker, and I 
make the following specific topic recommendations:

1. Resolved: That the USFG should adopt one or more affirmative action 
programs, excluding programs in the armed forces, to reduce employment 
and/or educational inequality in the United States.

2. Resolved: That the USFG should enact a national policy to 
substantially reduce employment discrimination
against one or more of the following groups:  women, transsexuals, gays 
and/or lesbians. 

 3. Resolved: That the USFG should  increase gender and/or racial 
equality in employment, educational, and/or housing opportunity in the 
United States.

4. Resolved: That the USFG should restrict the application and/or 
enforcement of one or more antidiscrimination policies  in the United 
States.

5. Resolved: That the USFG should establish an urban policy to reduce 
educational, economic, and/or social underdevelopment in the United 
States.

6. Resolved: That the USFG should adopt and/or strengthen one or more 
affirmative action programs, excluding programs in the armed forces, to 
promote preferences  which are based on race and/or sex in the allocation 
of housing, education, and/or employment in the United States.
