Why does the Affirmative ....

Why does the affirmative tend to win so many debates?

Is this notion of affirmative skew as pronounced as it seems?

What factors BESIDES broad topics account for the affirmative skew?

I agree in principle with Southworth on the needs for limited
resolutions. My notions would probably far more Draconian than his.
But i'm wondering if that seems to be the only major factor in the
affirmative skew. For example, perhaps we need to re-think speaking
order. This is probably considers a fetus of a thread.
