Yuri and Glen and more posturing
There are really only a couple of valuable moments in our continuing discourse.
For the most part the my players are better than your players jazz is going
nowhere so I will only continue to agree to disagree....
The Houston Rockets are a good team.....I even like them.....just not as much
as the Bulls.
The only thing I will continue to disagree about is that the ways the Bulls
play D is uniquely a problem for the Rockets. The Rockets rely too much on
the C/F positions to force double teams leaving peremiter players open. The
Bulls stay much closer to home when they do double team and they recover
quickly. While Yuri is right that a double team leaves someone open-the real
question is how the help rotates and where the double team occurs. The
Rockets are not used to the way the Bulls D runs......
The other arguments are positional
Elie, Willis, Barkley v Pippen,Rodman,Kukoc,Caffey,Buechler etc.
Who knows, you rebound and score we rebound and score....I still think we
play overall better D at the forward slot and you disagree.....I think we
at least get an edge because Bark cant play D
Hakeem v Slow ass Bulls centers(Longley,Parish,Williams)
You crush us at this position....our only hope is to foul and get lucky.
Drexler, Maloney, Threatt, EJ v Kerr, Jordan, Brown, Harper
I think we get a significant edge here while you think we only get a slight
edge or no edge.....O.K. agree to disagree....Can we at least agree that
the series probably turns on gaurd play?????
Our biggest disagreement centers around Drexler....I am clearly not as
impressed with his performance this year as you are...I think he has lost
legs and touch....You think he is as good as ever.....Guess only time will
tell.....
I hope we get to find out.....You have two tough series comin up and we have
one tough series coming up (we will kill the Hawks)......Later.....Josh
