Foreign Policy Collaberation

I would like to offer a suggestion to all of those who are not interested
in debating the civil rights topic. The fact is that for those
interested purely in the domestic resolutions, there is not much
competition with the civil rights topic. Domestic terrorism might pick
up a few votes, but not enough to significantly split the constituency
like campaign finance reform might have.

The exact opposite will be true
for the international topics if some concensus is not reached. There
seems to be quite a division between those favoring the treaties topic
and those who support Southeast Asia. If you share my opinion, either
one of these would be dramatically better than the civil rights topic.
Dividing the vote between these two topics would obviously result in the
civil rights topic prevailing if it has at least 35-40% of the community
supporting it.

So I encourage a discussion to take place among those favoring a foreign
policy topic in order to avoid splitting the vote. This exchange should
take place soon before schools start to send in their ballots. You all
might also consider not assigning any votes to the civil rights topic.

As an outsider looking in, this is how I perceive the situation. I have
absolutely no stake in this matter, so please don't even waste your time
sending any racism labels my way. I simply concur with the well
explained posts that have described the lack of negative ground on the
civil rights topic.
