Re: Viking lives on Mars
Viking, this Rocket hatred you display is simply a manifestation of some
latent Dave Devereaux trait you acquired. Hows the ride on the bandwagon?
Comfortable in the safety of adopting a team thats winning?
>Last year at about this time I said the Bulls would defeat the Sonics
>in five. I was wrong it took six.
Another bold prediction. What clued you off that the Bulls could beat the
Sonics? I'm gonna have to take you with me to Vegas, Viking the Greek!
>This year the Bulls will beat the Lakers in five.
Do you pull these numbers out of hats? The Rockets handled the Lakers in the
regular season. I realize the playoffs is a new ballgame but what about the
Lakers makes you think they can rise to the occassion. No homecourt hurts
the Lakers.
>The West - Utah is Utah & will find a way to lose to the first
>real opponent they face. As inexperineced as LA is, they do have
>the Laker mystique, and Shaq's been to one more Finals than
>Malone or Stockton has.
Lets talk about Shaqs finals experience. 4 games in which he was served a
heaping dish of humble pie. Olajuwon used him. Until Shaq develops a game
outside of 3 foot we shouldnt speak of Shaq as having a championship aura
about him. Lakers mystique? Viking, put away your Culture Club and Def
Lepard albums, this isnt the early 80,s. There is no Magic, there is no
Kareem, no Worthy and most of all no Pat Riley. I give the Lakers props,
that team will win a championship soon. Just not this year.
>Seattle will win game five - And lose to Houston in six, maybe seven
>They're a better team, but have to many head cases this year.
Finally, a sensible comment.
> Houston
>,however will be decimated, and Drexler and Barkley will finaly
>admit they collect social security.
Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, a joke about the Rockets age, I hardly ever hear those.
Whatever, the average age of the Rockets is 34 and the old guys seemed to
have a fairly solid season. Despite injuries they tore up all the contenders
during the regula season. Including the late season BLOWOUT of the Bulls.
But I guess you didnt see that game. They are the same age as Jordan and
they dont have to play as much as Jordan does in a single game.
>Houston sat Drexler & Barkley
>for the end of the season because they couldn't walk. -> Drexler and
>Barkley are a) fresh & b) rusty.
Yeah, they looked real rusty in the first round. Wake up man.
>But also remember Hakeem had to play
>ALOT at the end of the regular season. He's the key.
Exactly, hes the key but not in the sense he was in 94 and 95. And no, he
didnt play ALOT this season, his minutes were down, even at the end of the
season. Thats why you saw more of Willis.

You make no sense at all. That completely turns your Lakers arguments above.
It pains me to observe another poor soul blinded by the anti Rockets media
plot.
