Subject: advice needed re: tenure-track

The Communication Dept. at the University of Puget Sound is considering
requesting a tenure-track DOF position (the job is currently instructor
level/year to year contract).  I would appreciate any advice/thoughts about
how to make a compelling case why the DOF should have a tenure-track position.
