TECH TOURNAMENT

   To whom it may concern:
        During the four years I have held the Arkansas Tech
    tournament, it has been held on the last full weekend in
    January.  In January of 1997 another school in our area
    has chosen to hold their tournament on that weekend. My
    first response was to move our tournament one week later
    to accomidate the other school-- I planned on having our
    tournament on Jan 31 & Feb 1 1997. It turns out that
    weekend causes more problems than if we stick to our
    original dates of Jan 24 & 25.  I have therefore decided
    to hold our tournament on Jan 24 & 25, 1997,
       This decision was made with the best interests of my
    students and my friends in the forensics community as my
    primary concern.      Bob Bolen
