ADA is on board
At this meeting, the ADA unanimously passed the following amendment to
their by-laws: "ADA will adopt the CEDA resolution if it is worded as a
proposition of policy. If not, ADA will adop the parallel topic wording
announced by the NDT topic committee."
They look forward, as we do, to increasing contacts between the
communities.
The body reported that, assuming that the topics are the same and
assuming that ADA _will_ be permitted to use a novice definition that is
*more* restrictive than CEDA's, all ADA tournaments will seek CEDA sanction.
The ADA tournaments for this year are:
(Tuna - you may want to check this against your list)
* Kings College 9/27-29
* James Madison 10/25-27
* Austin Peay 11/1-3
* Liberty 11/8-10
* West Virginia (date uncertain - perhaps 11/29-12/1 or 12/6-7)
* George Mason 1/17-19
* Navy 1/31-32
* George Washington 2/15-16
* ADA Nationals 3/1-2
In addition, ADA schools indicated a strong interest in attending
* The Richmond tournament 10/11-13 (get ready Lisa)
* The Towson tournament 3/7-9
* A potential Miami tournament
* Various national tournaments
