DID YOU WATCH AS JORDAN CHOKED IN GAME 6 AGAINST ORLANDO LAST YEAR. Yes indeed he did choke. he got the ball stolenthree rings & MVPs, not the lowly clevelanders. AND, as for the oftmentioned 63 point night against the Celtics, jordan missed the last shotof the game from 15 feet. BULLS LOST. that makes those 63 meaningless. jordan is great, but he is NOT invincible. maybe those of you who are tooyoung to remember when oakley was a bull, cartwright was a knick, wenningtonat st johns with chris mullin, james edwards and RODMAN at detroit(who hatedchicago)...think that jordan is noncumus choke-us(without choke), but

- yuri yurii find all this dialogue about not criticizing others until our own houseis in order o.k., but maybe program directors should think about the studentsfirst, instead of their own impressions of what debate should be. seems to methat slow persuasive debate happens in CEDA. i spend a few years at regionaltournaments in texas and louisiana and i promise it was all about persuasion.the amount of learning is not the same. i speak from experience.
- yuri yurii have a question about all this solvency problem stuff. what if i have anauthor who writes contextually about doing plan A. this author gives very detailed descriptions of the reasons why plan would work. BUT during theprocess of futher research i find that there is one big disadvantage thatmy author did not see, but that could be corrected with a minor adjustmentto the plan. So i change the plan from plan A to plan B, which is the oldother aspects, i.e. procedurally, fiat,..you know. Yet I have no author thatsays the whole thing, as it is revised, would solve my problem, and so i lose? why can't debaters be allowed to offer their interpretations and defendthem. nobody is going to vote for steve donald because he's an expert on mexico, but the point is that it is the other teams job to show that theywin because they pick the case apart. otherwise the negative can stand up andxy thingy. associating x & y as xy could be a fallacy. but it also couldbe correct. that is why it is the debaters who should have to say more thanjust "YOU DON'T HAEFELE A SINGLE ALL ENCOMPASSING AUTHOR, YOU LOSE." seems the problem was "yuri is a problem on ceda-l" and the plan was "yuri willunsubscribe to ceda-l" why do i need a card that says "yuri will unsubscribefrom ceda-l"???? there is no joy in mudville tonight...the mighty rockets have fallen...yuri
- yuri yuriin reply to Achten. i hate to tell you this but utah home losses are not rare. look in the first round of the playoffs LAST year.
- yuri yurimy point isn't only speed, but acceptance of argument ect.
- yuri yurisomeone else made reference to peter being stupid, so that part of my post was not aimed at you. -yuri
- yuri yuritake the best debaters in ceda and ndt and put them in front of an audienceagainst neda, and neda will get crushed. love always - yuri
- yuri yurithis is specifically to mike ross from MU...doesn't it strike you asfunny that you are(apparently) a magic fan and you say past rings don'tmatter(specifically "ask the ROCKETS"), yet your boy shaq has a nationalad campaign where he praises THE DREAM as the best, who he wants to be like, and laments the fact that he has ten fingers NO(none, zip, nada, ect.)RINGS? seems like you've got a SOLVENCY PROBLEM(don't anyone post a S-problemfan would take a cheap shot at the ROCKETS. WHY? i kept asking myself....oh yeah, it's because WHEN YOU COULD BEAT CHICAGO(not this year**see game 1) the magic got THEIR ASS KICKED(collectively) by those ROCKETS. still bleedin ROCKETS red- yuri
