Perming a Kritik(ing)
I am still confused about this notion of "perming" a kritik. Perhaps it
is because of baggage I associate with the notion of permutations that I
have this confusion.
The philosophical underpinnings of the WAY of thinking from which
kritiking assumptions arise does not advocate an alternative. In fact,
the notion of demanding advocacy of an alternative is precisely the type
of calculative thinking that Heidegger, Marcuse, and CLS "trashers"
would reject most vehemently.
In essence, any time the affirmative attempts to "perm a kritik" they
are making an independent link to most kritiks since the underlying
assumptions of these WAYS of thought are anti-thetical to such notions
of advocacy or alternatives.
