personally, i think the strain of discussing the length of the debate 
season over such a long period of time can only be a detriment to coaches 
and students alike.  every second spent on discussing the length of the 
season is a second that one cannot spend actually working toward the coming 
season. 

i am wholly in favor of efforts designed to restrict the length of time 
devoted to discussion regarding the length of the season.  it is time to 
stop this year-round nonsense and the burn-out it brings with it. 

i, for one, am willing to do something about it.  i will voluntarily 
restrict myself from year long discussion about the season's length.
