     Glad to have him on IRC.  Dudley and I are trying
desperately to get Doug Brewer from Weber and Doyle Srader
from Georgia set up with an irc client.  We're having
a few difficulties , since IRC was originally written for
UNIX machines, and these individuals use VAX and/or CMS.
     If you want to try irc, and you know the alphabet
soup that is your computers operating system, we'll
try to help you all we can.  It's easiest if you've
an account on a UNIX machine, however.  Hopefully, after
we get Doug and Doyle set up, we'll know the routine a bit
better and it will go faster for subsequent setups.
    If you have a UNIX machine, though, it's really 
simple to set up irc.  Drop me a line if you're
interested.
    Oh, not incidentally, there _are_ PC and Mac irc
clients sitting at an ftp site somewhere, if these 
are the platforms that you are using.
