Apology

This morning many of you probably found a series of degenerating posts
between myself and another individual from late last evening.
I apologize for conducting a discussion in this manner on the L. This is
definitely not a place for such venting; and, furthermore, I think that
our entire conversation (both L postings and the even worse backchannels)
should have been on a much different level than we stooped to.
What happened, IMHO was that with both of us being on-line at the same 
time, after we allowed our emotions to dominate in immediately responding
to the other, at the expense of our rationale.  It seams that many of us
have the same goals, but just different ideas of how to achieve them.
This should be a common ground to build upon, not one to fight over.
