Although the responses I about to issue are to individuals posting them to
the CEDA-L, I figure people on the Parli-L should read them as well,
considering the things I wrote yesterday.

On Sun, 13 Jul 1997, Bob Lechtreck wrote:

Hardly. Actually, his decisions are much, much more predictable than the
majority of judges I see and have seen. Once you figure out what his
philosophy is (mostly tab, it's just about who wins the round) it's SUPER
easy to adapt and pick up his ballot. But hey, what can I say...

That's why I wrote the next sentence. I was trying to make it clear that
YOU weren't the person to make the accusations. Rather, it was your
observation and from a talk-show. Albeit Oprah ("Oprah's on!!")...

Not really. See above for the distinguishing effect I was trying to
create.

I am not saying he is the best person the world's ever seen. However,
adultery is grounds for being kicked out of the military (see recent
cases). And, when he encountered THREE court-martials in FOUR years
(that's a lot folks!), he WON. It's kinda like OJ. He was acquitted.
But, I guess now (somehow) he has to face the music again in the court of
public opinion. I'd hardly like that to happen to this individual or
anyone else in the debate community.

What's that, Bob? Bad judging? Heckling competitors? Give me a break.
I have been able to predict EVERY decision he's made. I guess it's a
Black thing ;).

And, he's one of those two. See my last post and this one for support.

I know that he is not an angel. But, I really, really urge all of us to
have caution before buying into all of this stuff.
