I disagree. I think there are plenty of examples of permanent damage
done by coaches not trying to consider the well-being of the
individual child. I would strongly discourage my daughters
involvement with an individual using abusive techniques, even if the
"team" was successful.

I am not sure why you continue to frame this as an issue of gender
discrimination. I have taken much heat for pointing out that Little
League coaches probably do as much, if not more, overall damage.

I do not really believe that you would leave your child with a
successful, yet abusive, coach.
