UNI Season Opener

Highlights:

IE tournament is Sept 21 -- 2 prelims, finals, all AFA events.
This year it is again a swing with Cornell College in Mt Vernon IA --
  2 prelims, finals, all AFA events.

Debate tournament is Sept 21-23 -- three divisions of policy debate --
Open, JV, Novice.  We'll use the CEDA topic unless it is a fact or
value resolution, in which case we'll use the NDT policy equivalent.
Beyond that there will be no distinction drawn between NDT and CEDA.

For both tournaments, the tournament hotel this year is the WATERLOO
HOLIDAY INN -- flat rate of 45.00 per room.  In addition to the low
rate, other reasons for you to stay at that hotel are: registration
is there, coaches receptions are there, debate pairings released there
in the mornings, continental breakfasts are there each morning, and all
of the debate elims will be at the hotel and the convention center across
the street.
