Final Topic List for CEDA 96-97



I am now going down to New Haven, Vermont to prepare for the 30,000+ people
who will be attending the 11th Annual Vermont Reggae Festival I am
organizing and will be the MC for.  Thus, I will be out of reach for a
couple of days.

______ Resolved: that the United States federal government should inccrease
       regulations requiring industries to decrease substantially the domestic
       production and/or emission of airborne pollutants.

______ Resolved: that the United States federal government should increase
       the rights of non-human animal species in the US.

______ Resolved: that biocentric ethics are more desirable than
       anthropocentric ethics.

______ Resolved: that the United States federal government should increase
       regulations requiring industries to decrease substantially the domestic
       production and/or emission of environmental pollutants.

______ Resolved: that we should embrace the principles of deep ecology.

______ Resolved: that the United States federal government should substantially
       strengthen one or more of the following: Endangered Species Act,
       Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act."
