Not Too Late to "strengthen" the topic

I will add my voice to the increasing chorus decrying the
bidirectionality of using a word like strengthen (e.g., make better) on a
topic that was previously excellent.

This vote seems to have taken place without a great deal of discussion.
I have seen no rejoinder to the comments of folks like Deatheridge. As
Ross Smith recently indicated, this word choice seems to be busting
coalitions and adding a fresh layer of uncertainty to the final outcome.

I RESPECTFULLY IMPLORE THE COMMITTEE TO RECONSIDER THE VOTE WHICH
REPLACED 'INCREASE' WITH 'STRENGTHEN.' THERE IS NOTHING PROCEDURAL WHICH
PREVENTS SUCH A CHANGE AS LONG AS IT OCCURS IN THE NEXT THREE DAYS.
