Three Times A Day
Ralph Nader, when speaking to our law school a month ago, related an
anecdote about his first year at -- I think -- Harvard. He'd been a
little befuddled at the lack of instruction about the fundamentals and
asked one of his law professors, "are there any classes offered on food?"
The greying professor looked at the young jurist rather quizically and
replied, "'food'?" To which Ralph explained, "Yeah. Food. You know, the
stuff we eat?"
So, anybody out there wanna swap recipes? I'd love to debate the merits
of soy v. rice v. almond v. hemp milk with any willing combatants. My
mom, a community college teacher, told me recently that she wasn't sure it
was ethical to use official school email access for trading recipes. But
I won't tell if you don't.
Ciao,
Mark
PS: It just occured to me that some folks may not know about the reality
of factory farming. Lemmee know if you want any info. :)
