shit can be used in really innocuous ways ("oh, shit, I forgot that
meeting"). This is a distraction -- the real concern I have felt has come
from words no one would object to normally -- LIKE CORN COB. Ok, onwards
and upwards, and I look forward to meeting you in the fall. If you want
to argue peoople should use informal linguistic styles, should be thick
skinned, etc, that's cool, we can agree to disagree. Im just saying you
should let those arguments fall where they may, go down defending them if
you wish -- but please dont stake my liberation on your linguistic
choices. Im a big girl now, I usually take care of myself. (I would put a
smiley here but I forgot how to make one.)
