RE: Antonucci on postmodern
2. While you are correct (in my opinion) in saying that
some "PM" scholars deliberately practice obscurity, and
while you may even be correct in extending that
criticism to some debaters, NO SUCH ACCUSATION
COULD NOT ALSO BE MADE AGAINST OTHER
SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT, OR THE DEBATERS
>WHO BORROW FROM THOSE SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT.
Structuralist thinkers, armchair marxists, and especially
Buckly-esque conservatives not only use vocabulary
and gamesmanship to obscure reasoned analysis;
they also accuse their detractors of illiteracy, or nefarious
motives. And the alleged intolerance you seem to accuse
postmodern debaters of having towards their structuralist
colleagues pales in comparison to the utter contempt
reserved for critics or debaters who suggest alternatives
to utilitarianism. In other words, your claim is
"Non-unique."
