The fall ballot contains the following topics:

Resolved: that the United States should normalize its international 
relations with Cuba.

Resolved: that United States political hegemony in Latin America is more 
detrimental than beneficial to Latin America.

Resolved: that United States government trade policies should be linked to 
Latin American reform in one or more of the following areas:  increased 
democratization, improved environmental protection, fair labor practices.

Resolved: that the United States should substantially change its foreign 
policy towards Mexico.

Resolved: that political empowerment of women in Latin America is more 
important than maintaining the current political order in Latin America.


The ballots will be mailed out TOMORROW (7/16).  The topic will be 
released on Friday, September 1.
