When are you planning to release the results of the December
ballot...some of us are very interested in the results.

The MPJ ballot that was included in the late December mailing was ALSO
included in the post-SCA mailing 3 1/2 weeks earlier. It should have
been in every members hands one month prior to the voting deadline.
The inclusion in the later mailing was simply to respond to some who
had misplaced the earlier ballot. Several have complained that the late
December mailing arrived too late to vote BUT it was only a repeat. I
apologize for the confusion - I was only trying to be helpful.
Incidentally, the MPJ referendum "lost" by a 60%-40% margin. I
communicated those results to Steve Hunt and they became a portion of
the basis for his decision concerning judge assignment at nationals
which will be communicated when the invitation comes out.
The AFA referendum has a voting deadline of February.
It should be noted that both measures are purely advisory.
Sincerely,
GARY
