Re: A Challenge to NDT Crossovers

Diversity is definitely a problem in NDT. But I think that there is
progress, both racially and in gender distribution. At the very least,
the NDT women's caucus has done a lot to raise consciousness about the
treatment of women in debate.

Someone blipped me, although I don't remember whether it was public or
private, about the existence in CEDA of a problem with female judges
being singled out for post-round shouting matches. What's the profile of
harassment in CEDA? I won't ask if it's a problem, because I don't think
it's truly ABSENT from just about any active as interactive as ours, if
any activity IS as interactive. Slip me some thoughts, some experiences,
some anecdotes, and "paint me a picture" as Cary Voss used to put in his
judging philosophy.
