Open and public is my default setting.

My apologies if you are offended. I don't check the "from" line very
carefully when responding on issues of general interest to the debate
community.

I do not differentiate between the two. I believe you also have posted
private backchannel messages to the L. Am I wrong?

In case anyone is curious, all of my email is public. All of your email is
potentially public. If anyone has private secrets which relate to general
debate issues, I urge you not to send them to me.
